Application
For inert gas, reactive, flammable, oxidizing and corrosive gases and gas mixtures, Purity max. 6.0.
Tube Fittings are appropriate for Gas Systems, but the implementation of certain standards mentioned below should be adhered to just as in other systems.
1. Tubing hardness must be less than that of the ferrules.
2. Tubing should be free of surface imperfections, defects and round in shape.
3. Tubing ends must be cut squarely and perpendicular to the center-line of the tubing.
4. After the tubing is cut it must be deburred on both the inside and outside with a High quality fully sharpened deburring tool.

Thread Specifications

Pressure Rating for Pipe End Thread
Allowable pressure ratings for male and female threads are based on ASME B31.3 at ambient temperature.
Installation Instruction
1. Firmly insert the tubing until it bottoms in the fitting body.
2. Finger tighten the nut.
3. Mark the nut at the 6 o’clock position, with pencil or scribe.
4. Hold the body with a backup wrench, or vice, then tighten nut.
5. 1-1/4 turns to the 9 o’clock position.
6. The above applies to all fittings from 1/4"to 1"(6mm to 25mm).
7. Fittings from 1/16" to 3/16" (3mm to 4mm), only 3/4 turn is required.
Cautions
1. Do not loosen or tighten fittings when the system is pressurized.
2. Make sure that the tubing rests firmly on the shoulder of the port.
3. Always leave enough straight length of the tubing for the fittings.
4. Always use an insert for extremely soft plastic tubing.
5. Material of the metal tubing should be softer than that of the fitting.
6. Keep the tubing end and surface clean and smooth.
7. When assembling the tube fitting, hold the body with a wrench and turn the nut instead of holding the nut.
8. When installing a valve with tube fitting end, hold the valve body with a wrench and turn the nut.
9. When assembling the fitting to a valve with thread, hold the valve body with a wrench and turn the body of the fitting.
Cleaning
All fittings are free from machine oils, loose particles and grease throughout the close cleaning process.
Packaging
Each fitting is sealed bagged to ensure component cleanliness and to protect them from environmental contamination.
