Higlue 55 Thread sealing cord is a new, faster, more versatile pipe sealant which out-dates traditional tapes and hemp/paste combinations. It instantly seals (irrespective of ambient temperature) domestic and industrial pipe systems during assembly. Can be safely and confidently used with drinking or waste water (hot or cold), gas, compressed air, and industrial oils. Supplied in a handy, pocket sized, protective container complete with built in cutter.

PTFE Tape VS pipe sealing cord

Please attention,for same size thread,the usage quantity of thread sealing cord is only1/3of PTFE tape.

For example,if the size of thread is 1/2'':

Then you need1.2mPTFE tapeto seal it(the cost of1.2mPTFE is about0.02usd),the operation time need about50 seconds;

While if you usesealing cord,only need0.4mto seal it(the cost of0.4mthread sealing cord is about0.01usd),the operation time only need24 seconds.
